Stop consonant sounds are produced by complete obstruction of the outgoing air stream, creating air pressure and then releasing it: [b]- [p], [t]- [d], [k]- [g].
Взрывные согласные звуки произносятся при полной преграде выдыхаемому воздуху, создающей давление воздуха и затем высвобождающей его: [b]- [p], [t]- [d], [k]- [g].
[p]
The [p] sound is a stop voiceless consonant sound produced by the lips. Imagine making an explosive sound. Try to say:
Звук [p] – это глухой взрывной согласный звук, который произносится губами. Представьте, что Вы изображаете звук взрыва. Попытайтесь сказать:

[b]
The [b] sound is a voiced stop consonant sound also produced by the lips. Imagine making an explosive sound and try to say b b b. The only difference is that you add voice when you are making this sound. The motion of the lips remains the same.
Звук [b] – это звонкий взрывной согласный звук, который также произносится губами. Представьте, что Вы изображаете звук взрыва и попытайтесь сказать b b b. Единственное отличие – то, что Вы добавляете голос, когда произносите этот звук. Движение губ остается одинаковым.
